Do you sell the original watches?

We are official seller of all watches we show on our website; this means you don't have to worry about fake products
while shopping with us. Please don't buy fake watches, the original producers invest a lot of their time, money & ideas
in making a cool watch for you. It's easy to replicate watches using inferior materials and doing zero investment (the
fake watches will also dissapoint you regarding the very poor visual quality).
The end result of buying fake watches may be that unique, smaller producers will cease producing new watches.

Watch specifications

Full operating instructions for all watches, detailing how the time and date is shown, how to set the time, date and alarm
(if applicable) and how to take care of your watch are included in English for each watch.
Most (short) manuals are also available on the product’s page; when missing we can also send you a full manual on request.

Strap sizes

Details on watch strap sizes can be found on the website within each watch description. The strap size indicates the maximum
length and all watch straps can be adjusted to a smaller size, usually minimum of 150 mm and a maximum of 225 mm.

How can strap sizes be adjusted?

If you need a strap to be fitted or links to be removed from a watch that you bought at Intelligent Watches, we recommend
that you take the watch to a jewellery store or watch specialist for adjustment. Straps can be fitted and links can be
removed quickly and easily for a small charge there. Rubber straps can usually be cut to size with a scissor at home!
In case you are handy and buying a lot of watches, you may want to consider to purchase a link remover. It pushes the pin
out of the link and is available online for only a few euros. Please be careful though, we don't have spare links available.

What kind of batteries do the watches sold by Intelligent Watches use?

All watches sold by Intelligent Watches use standard batteries available at any jewellery store or watch specialist.
To find out the battery specification for your watch please refer to the instruction manual or specifications on the product page.

How long will the battery in my watch last for?

The lifetime of the battery in your watch will depend on the type of watch. For an LED watch, it will depend on how often the
light up function is used and the buttons are pressed, but should typically last for twelve months. Batteries in analogue watches
may last between two and three years. The guarantee does not cover the battery!
When you buy a watch from Intelligent Watches, the battery supplied is usually factory fitted for testing purposes and may last
for a shorter time than stated above. Please note that a faulty display can also be the cause of a low battery.

How do I replace the battery?

If the battery in your watch runs out and you have the necessary tools and the correct replacement battery, you can replace
the battery yourself. We do however recommend that you take the watch to a jewellery store or watch specialist for battery
replacement. Brands like Storm & Time-IT usually have "ease replace battery", the back can be opened and closed using a coin.
All watches use standard batteries available at any jewellery store or watch specialist and can also be replaced there.

Warranty procedure

If your watch breaks down during the warranty period (usually 1 year), please contact us first before you send it back to us.
We will then provide you with the information you need. Please check the battery first, in case it concerns a display problem.

How to take care of your watch?

To ensure your watch has a long life, we recommend the following:

  • Do not press watch buttons under water or when there is excessive humidity on the surface;
  • Avoid long term exposure to extreme temperature and direct sunlight, this can lead to the discoloration of material surfaces;
  • Avoid exerting heavy pressure on your watch or dropping your watch;
  • If you notice the lights on your watch getting dimmer, it is an indication that the battery needs replacing;
  • Very weak or dead batteries left in the product may damage the movement.

Are watches sold by Intelligent Watches water resistant?

Most watches sold by Intelligent Watches are water resistant to at least 3 ATM. This means the watch is protected against small
accidental splashes, perspiration and water vapour. In general, we recommend that contact with water be avoided. Watches with a
rating of 3 ATM are not water-proof and should not be submerged in water. Watches with a rating of 5 ATM can be used for showering
and swimming in shallow water. We don't recommend wearing the watch when undertaking activities which cause excessive sweating.

Cleaning your watch

To clean your watch we recommend the following:

  • Use only a soft, damp cloth and avoid getting moisture in openings;
  • Do not use household cleaners, solvents, sprays or strong chemicals.
